"KEEP SWEET: HOPE AND STRENGTH FOR THE HURTING". Linda Werman Brawner author,
tells the story of how God carried her family through the illness and death of
her husband Jerry Brawner. It appeals to people of all ages and circumstances,
anyone who is struggling. Her website is: WWW.KEEPSWEETFOREVER.COM
Just Released: "THRIVING WITH DEPRESSION"now available at Barnes and Noble
This book began while I was writing KEEP SWEET, the story of how God carried my
family through the illness and death of my husband. I knew I needed another book to
tell how He carries me through clinical depression. Both stories are written for those
who are badly hurting and may be unfamiliar with church or the Bible. Both books are
meant to be thumbnail sketches that make the reader want to learn more about Jesus.
"Linda Brawner is a very talented writer who has shown the courage to put her convictions into
practice in her daily life. As a volunteer with the Richland County Suicide Prevention Coalition,
Linda has been very open about her struggles with depression, giving media interviews and doing public
service announcements. She reveals in her writing and personal testimony how her faith has sustained
her through difficult times, and the importance of mental health treatment and support from others.
By sharing her own experiences in very personal language, she gives hope and inspires others to reach
out for help.
"Thriving with Depression" is also filled with Bible references and examples that Linda
relates to our everyday lives. Linda holds a BA degree cum laude from Ashland University, and
has written numerous magazine articles.
Her first book, "Keep Sweet" is a very touching account of her relationship with her husband,
Jerry, and the way she coped with her grief and depression after his death. Told through a
series of letters, Linda's sense of humor, faith and optimism about life, shine through,
even in the face of tragedy. "
James D. Kinnan, Professional Clinical Counselor, Executive Director
Richland County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board.

that will make your audience sit on the edge of their seats; check out "You Can't
Help But Listen."
The book by Charles Munson, semi-retired pastor/preacher, teacher
theologian, professor and dean from Ashland University Theological Seminary expresses
his warm humor and mischievous nature, but mostly, it expresses his love and true
concern for the common man in need of a savior and how to find the words to express
that need to audiences.
Charles Munson has a long, recorded history of pranks and, with sharp wit - relating
his varied true life anecdotes. He uses these to spell-bind listeners from
every walk of life, and to lead them into God's truth. His experiences include interim pastering
and serving as chaplain for such organizations as the Cleveland Indian Baseball team,
where Oral Herchshiser became his biggest fan. He writes the forward in the book.
