AREA WRITERS GROUPSThe support and encouragement for beginning or experienced writers is invaluable.
Find resources, critique, activities, discipline and motivation from a local group. Here is a small network
of Northern and North-Central Ohio Groups Akron Manuscript Club meetings - Second Sundays of the month, at 2:00 PM, at
the Jerry Shaw Jewish Community Center of Akron, at 750 South White Pond Drive. Each meeting
consists of a business portion followed by a reading/critique portion. Those wishing to have
literary items critiqued by the club's members, should bring about six copies of each work to pass

The Maumee Valley Romance Writers of America meets every fourth Saturday of the month
at the Holland Branch library on McCord Road in Holland, Ohio, from 10 am to noon.

Wayne County Writers' Guild's meeting on the second Tuesdays monthly
from 6:30-8:30 at Wayne Center for the Arts, 237 South Walnut Street, Wooster. It is especially
helpful if poets bring copies of their work to hand out. Bring up to five pages to share.
